This is one of the darkest, most heartbreaking stories I’ve ever read.
Henry and Margaret were the ultimate power couple — theater actors who fell madly in love in college and stayed deeply in love for years. They did everything together, on stage and off. Until one night after a performance, a pale stranger with creepy blue eyes approached them.
That stranger was a vampire.
What follows is a nightmare of love, violence, and desperation. After a brutal fight, Margaret is bitten and begins turning. Henry does the only thing he can think of to keep her alive: he locks her in the basement and starts feeding her. First his own blood. Then animals. Then… homeless people he lures into their home.
He became her monster. She became something neither of them could bear. The guilt eventually destroyed them both.
In the end, out of pure love, Henry does the one thing she begs him to do — the final act that ends her suffering.
This story is raw, tragic, sickening, and strangely romantic all at the same time. I had to stop recording several times because it got so heavy. It’s not your typical haunted house tale. This one cuts deep.
Listener discretion is VERY strongly advised. This episode contains extreme violence, murder, cannibalism, and heavy emotional content.
If you like your horror stories dark, emotional, and completely messed up, this is one you won’t forget.

Turn the lights low… but maybe keep the garlic handy.
