Who we are

Spooky Boo’s Scary Story Time is a podcast featuring scary stories sent in by listeners and collected over the internet. Spooky Boo sometimes even writes her own stories when possible.

Who is allowed to use this website?

Anyone over 13 to 17 with permission of their parents to be on the internet and anyone over the age of 18 as long as spooky, scary stories are allowed in your area. How you handle that is your reponsibility. People offended by paranormal, scary, or horror content should go find something else to do. If we have an article that may contain offensive content, we will mark it as such. This might include certain swear words by the person submitting a story or certain topics that contain certain levels of violence such as our serial killer exposé episodes.

Anyone over the age of 18 is allowed to send in stories or from a website where the story has aged to when the person would be 18+. This is simply because telling a story online and sending one in is a contract between the submitter and this website and someone under 18 is not old enough to sign a written contract. If you do send in a story then you have agreed that you are at least 18 years old and do not need parental constent.

Copyright and DCMA Take Down Notices

We require that all stories sent in to us are stories written by the original author as we have made every attempt to tell people this when they submit a story. If possible, we include the links to the story. If you feel your story has been used without your permission, please send the link to your original story and an explanation. We will not share the private information of the person who posted the story, but we will research. If we feel the person did not copy your story, then it will not be removed. If you can provide evidence the story has been copied, then we will remove the story. We do retain all information from story submitters and, if requested by a legal source of a copyright notice, we will provide the information to that legal source. No private information will be shared with the person requesting the information unless forced by a court of law. Note that many paranormal stories share the same details because of the nature of the activity. It will be the responsibility of the person sending in the complaint to show that he or she owns the story to begin with. Please do not send false requests. Any attempt of false copyright complaints will get you blocked from the site.

If requested, data is sent to agencies for legal matters when a warrant is issued.
