True Scary Story Submissions
Submit your stories to the podcast.
Please read this whole page before submitting a story. Also, please listen to the podcast to get an idea of what we’re looking for.
- You must be 18+ to submit a story.
- All stories must be checked for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Stories without proper grammar and punctuation will be denied.
- Please submit only stories compatible with a 14+ audience.
- We’re looking for true scary stories of the paranormal and true scary crime stories.
- You must own the copyright to the story you are submitting.
- Please make stories 500 to 3000 words. Stories of any other size will be declined.
- We prefer that all stories are unique. If you have submitted the story to Reddit or a creepypasta library then please change it up a little. This is to your benefit, so people will see it. Search engines do not like duplicate content.
- We retain the right to deny any story for any reason.
- We may not contact you immediately if a story is denied, depending on the amount of stories sent in. It may take weeks or months to get back to you if the demand is high at the time of your submission.
- There is no pay for each story, but if you have a business or you are a paranormal investigator, we can put your information in as a link and info. Just let us know!
- Please tell your friends when your story is published or share on social media. If you wish the story to remain anonymous, please say so on the form. Otherwise, we will announce your first name and location as sent in.
- If you agree to all of these terms, please submit your story. Thank you so much!
- To have the story taken down, please fill out the general business form. This will take a while because of all of the changes we must make to remove the story. I might take up to 6 weeks or longer. Please make the request through your original email.
